This booklet was first published in 1945, by the author, Orson P. Jones, pastor of: the Grace Baptist Church of San Diego, California, formerly the University Avenue Baptist Church. Brother Jones, who was eighty-one years, old on November 18, 1967, has been pastor of the same church for the past forty-four years.

Pastor Paul R. Kirkman of the Grace Baptist Church, Fairborn, Ohio liked the booklet so well that permission was obtained from Brother Jones to publish it. Therefore, it is with sincere appreciation to our Brother and thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ that we of the Grace Baptist Church, Fairborn, Ohio are privileged to publish these truths. Not one word of the text has been changed.

The three doctrines, PREDESTINATION, ELECTION, and SANCTIFICATION, are the "hated doctrines" to many dear people because of the lack of teaching They are, nevertheless, doctrines of God's Word and are truly, precious to all who have been, enabled by the Holy Spirit to rejoice in the way that they glorify God.

It is our prayer that as you read this booklet the Holy Spirit will truly make these doctrines plain to you so that you too can rejoice in the truths they contain.
